Office Leader of tk1sc’s 30-person office in Los Angeles, Louise is an accomplished and inspiring leader with a strategic vision. She got her start in 1989 as a process and facilities engineer working with IBM in Quebec, an experience that sparked Louise’s passion for success through collaboration and integrated design.
Louise is known for her high-energy, hands-on approach to engineering, project management, and team building. She plays an integral role in the leadership of tk1sc where she is part of the Executive Committee and Strategic Vision team. In two short years, under Louise’s leadership, the Los Angeles office has grown to over 30 people providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, energy and sustainability, technology, code, commissioning, and lighting design services.
Louise is an active member of OSHPD’s Hospital Building Safety Board, vice-chair of the Energy Conservation and Management committee, and participating board member of the Education /Outreach and Administrative Processes/ Code Changes / Standard Details committees. She is a member of ASHE, CSHE, and ASHRAE. Her work can be seen at Dignity Health, Kaiser, Cedars-Sinai, Shriners for Children Medical Center, Providence-St. Joseph Medical Center, City of Hope, Mayo Clinic, and Banner Health.
